Six teams battled it out at the OLF PetroChallenge Norway 2009 final in Stavanger on 16 January 2010. They had all won their regional finals, and were flown in for the weekend to prove their worth. In the end the team Iskald from Byåsen VGS in Trondheim were cool enough and won the competition with a clear margin against the other teams. However, the competition was tough throughout the three licensing rounds in the 5 hour session. All teams managed to prove economically viable volumes of oil and gas, and it was only in the last ½ hour that the Byåsen team managed to prove lots of extra oil and gas, and grab the victory. Team members Johannes Per Julian Malmberg Saether, Markus Lovos Fjelltun, Thomas Hultgren Svee, Viktor Zoric are now on their way to London to represent Norway in the international final on 30 January 2010.
