OilSim can be configured to the learning needs using the scenario builder. For example, when designing a training session you can choose whether:

• The participants should be oil companies and/or a petroleum authorities
• The setting should be onshore and/or offshore - and what the map should look like
• The difficulty level should be so it suits high-school pupils, university students, or expert geoscientists working in oil and gas companies
