If a venue is using more than one router/switch/hub or hub to cope with the number of computers connecting to the wireless internet, venues will be requested to confirm that the distribution of traffic to the router/hub is distributed evenly across the venue so that particular switches or hubs are not overloaded and causing unnecessary slowdowns. Computer compatibility test: Go to http://check.oilsim.com on each computer to be used so that the computer browser and Flash can be checked for compatibility. Speed Test: To check the internet speed for computers at a venue, use a service like http://www.speedtest.net |
